Best ways to play as a team

These are just some of my thoughts on certain game modes and how to best play them as a team.

Cranked: This one is easy. Winning teams stick together. If you can get a group of 4-6 playing and you all stay together, moving in circles around the map, you will dominate every game. People hate this mode because people are running everywhere which makes the spawns happen on top of people. If you stick together the other team will generally spawn away from you in position for our team to just run right into them. No one or two people are going to win against a fast moving group of 5.

Blitz: 2 camped out on defense, other four head to the goal. Once there and you can establish a position of dominance keeping the other team away from the goal have someone become a runner. Using a lightweight class with marathon, etc. this persons whole job is to just run from one goal to the other. If done right the matches can end in no time.

Both of these modes are great for wracking up a large number of wins in a short period of time.

Domination: I've noticed that when playing with a lot of people from the clan we don't really have a plan other than just to keep capping all three points. It works better but is a bit cheaper if you take two points, put two on defense of either A or C, then have the other four defend B. Especially in hardcore. Then you just pick them off as they try and cap B.

TDM: This one greatly depends on the map, but anytime you can keep everyone to one side of the map so you know which way the other team is coming from at all times is best. Freight or the new map containment are great examples of this. Stay on one side of the tracks on freight and just slaughter anyone who comes out in the open.

Hardcore: Some tips for every HC game mode. Run incog. Also have either the thermal or tracker sight on your gun so you can pick people out easier. Blind eye is also really helpful. In HC game modes you want to move slowly and take your time. This mode can be intimidating at first, but once you realize you cant play it the same way you play core and adjust your play style you may like it better!

Any other tips you guys have picked up?

Good stuff.

The only thing I would add is on KC. The best method I've found on this is to hunt in pairs (or even threes). It is a common tactic for people to sit and ADS at a teammates tag waiting for you to make a move to pick it up, then kill you, turning a score against into a score for. By sending one out whilst the other(s) cover them, you can often flush these guys out and get more kills / tags in the process.

Dont know a whole lot about Cranked or Blitz but it makes perfect sense what your saying and i dont see any possible way why it wouldnt work. What i do know about is Domination. And you've hit everything right on the spot. IN Domination the main thing to know is capture two flags hold them (especially B) the clan thst holds B the longest wins the game as A and C are natural spawns depending on which one your holding. If the enemy has A and you have B and C and they are all pushing in on your flag (C) then the spawns will change and you will start spawning in their flag (A) notice that this is the best time to capture their flag right after you spawn as they are all pushed in at your flag (C) (always make note of where your teamates are at all times) if there are 3 of your teamates still trying to defend (C) or trying to capture it back then chances are you probably will encounter an enemy at their flag (A) so communication is key at that point of the match. But if you all start spawning at (A) enemies flag, then everything will stay the same except you will now have A and they will have C. Spawning is very important in this game mode but the most important is to always have (B) and always defend it as A and C will come naturally with the spawns. Dont get me wrong key is to always dominate two flags. So in a party of Six i would say ( at the start of the game) have only one or two people go for the spawn flag and the other 4 go for B immediatly that will give us great map position and we will know where they will spawn. Also very important like you said not to push into their spawn as this could go catastrofically wrong once you think you have them dominated. Once we have two flags keep two in our spawn flag and 4 near B. Never ever be the 4 of you together as there are alot of people with rocket launchers. Be at close proximity to each other (at least 2 and 2) and be in the lookout for people who will try to flank this is the majority of the time as you will most likely have one or maybe two crazy enemies running staight to B in the wide open making them an easy kill.Hope this helps you guys and maybe get some of you to join me in HC DOM. lol

Great post Agkana, great tips and good input from Admunday too.

Think we need to utilize some of the above.

In true Columbo style.....just one more thing.....

Whilst it's not essential and I appreciate peoples circumstances with family etc do not always make this possible, it is useful and can be gamechanging if as many as possible in the group have mics.

I've played so many online games in my years so know this is not always an option or some people feel a bit selfconcious and uncomfortable whilst doing so (I'm not exactly the loudest guy!), but shout outs and the co-ordination this allows is brilliant and can make a real difference.
